Bognor again tame opponents at Brockham Badgers U14 Tournament.                                                14/06/10

Bognor's 2010 team eased through the league stage of this tournament not losing a game, and came face to face with local team Predator Tigers in the semi final for area honours. Bognor again too strong for Tiger, challenged the best team in the other group section Cheam Rangers for overall glory. 0-0 after extra time but Bognor’s precision and goalkeeper skills lead them to win 4-1 on penalties. Bognor also won the Fair-play Award for sportsmanship...

Chichester City Tournament                                        25/07/09

At lunchtime U13's Bognor had only 4 points from 5 games, a win and one draw made it look difficult to reach the play offs. Playing well but not finding the net was the problem for Bognor, this changed in the afternoon with 2 wins and a draw from the last 3 games. The semi-final was an exciting match against at tough Worthing Minors U14 side, Town now playing their best football outplayed this established side winning 1-0. In the final, the league section winners AFC Portsmouth U14's possibly underestimated the potential of Bognor after their 0-2 win in the earlier league round. Bognor dominated the final in all areas winning 1-0 to complete a successful day.

Worthing Town Tournament                                                       05/07/09

Bognor's 6 players won the league section of the Worthing Town Tournament with 5 wins and 3 draws giving them a semi-final against 4th placed Rottingdean, the other semi-final was contested by Crawley Wasps sides 'A' and 'B'. Bognor won 3-0 taking them to the final. This tense final was Towns 10 game of the day, netting 19 goals and conceding just 1 Bognor looked good for a win. After some amazing misses it was 0-0 after extra time. Town failed to score 2 of its 6 penalties allowing Wasps to win the tournament.

Presentation Day a success.                                                     21/06/09

Presentation and Rounders day was a huge success, fun was had by all. Congratulations to the award winners and many thanks to players and parents. The very best for all future ventures.

Worthing Minors Tournament                                                    13/06/09

Bognor played some nice football as the tournament progressed but failed to dominate any single game. Finishing joint top of the league section with Eastbourne on 14 points, Town played Hemel Hempstead ‘A’ in the Semi and went through on penalties, as did Eastbourne in their semi. An evenly matched Final went into extra time, but Bognor’s lack of determination to win let them down in the final minutes losing 1-0 to a more focused side. Overall a good day but Bognor need to regain the desire to win.

Felpham Tournament

Bognor did themselves proud playing against mainly U14 opposition to reach the Final at Felpham. Finishing 3rd in the league stage meant a playoff spot against Northfield Black, Bognor outplayed this team and won 1-0. Moving on to the semi against Northfield Red (Northfield won the U14 league this season) this tightly fought contest went on to penalties which Bognor won 5-4. In the Final Bognor finally had to concede and lost 2-0 to a strong Worthing Minors U14 side.
